Ok, so it's been a while....I've been bad at posting. We recently put our condo on the market and we've spent alot of time trying to keep it clean for showings. It's hard to do that with a one year old who wants to mess up everything the minute you put it away.
So, I'll give you an update since my last post in February! McKalie started walking when she was 13 months old and now she's all over the place. Her vocabulary is expanding...she can say mama, dada, baby, backpack (yes, from Dora!), thank you, up, no, bye bye, bite, puppy, ball (and probably some others, but can't think of them at this hour). She can growl like a lion, loves to dance, and when you ask her what Dora wears on her back, she sings the backpack song from Dora!!! Her favorite show is probably The Wonderpets. She's doing good in school (daycare). They recently moved her up into the older classroom and she has adjusted well, except for being bit by the same little girl twice! At least McKalie's not the biter but I hate that my baby girl is getting picked on. She'll learn to stand her own really soon! McKalie is such a sweet little girl and we love her so much! She loves to love on her mommy and daddy and give kisses. She's a tough little girl, bouncing right back up when she face plants from falling, trying to keep up with those quick little feet. I guess she's going to take after her daddy and his SAQ training.
Above (can't figure out how to get them below my writing) are some pictures of her birthday party, swinging at the park and just some play time at the house. Hope everyone is doing well!

Hey Christy!
David and I have decided to start a blog and I remembered that you had one! :)
Anyways, I thought I'd help you out with your picture placement in your posts. I was messing around with blogger because I knew there had to be some way to get pictures below the text:
1. When you're writing a new post, above the formatting tool bar there's two tabs - one says "Edit Html" and the other says "Compose". The tab that will automatically be selected when you create a new post will be "Compose".
2. Write post and insert pictures as you normally would.
3. Once you've got your pictures inserted, click the "Edit Html" tab.
4. You should see the text you typed for your post as well as a bunch of other random text between < these kinds of brackets > - this text is the code for each individual picture.
5. While still under the "Edit Html" tab, cut and paste the code for the pictures you want below your text and that should do it!
Well, love the new pics of McKalie! She's the sweetest baby ever! Hope all is well and I'm going to try and arrange dinner with the girls again when the semester's over! Hopefully see you soon! ♥ Cynthia
I can't believe she's walking! Her hair is growing too, pretty soon it'll be out of control! :)
